MIAMI, FL (SMI-LATIN-ENTERTAINMENT, SEPTEMBER 20-24, 2022) — The

La Academia Latina de la Grabación® ha anunciado a los nominados de la 23.a Entrega Anual del Latin GRAMMY®, la preeminente distinción internacional que celebra la excelencia en la música latina, y el único galardón que es otorgado por profesionales de la industria musical. Durante el proceso de premiación votan miembros creadores de música, que son parte de La Academia Latina de la Grabación, y que representan los diversos géneros y campos creativos, entre ellos, artistas, compositores, productores, e ingenieros de grabación y mezcla.
 

Este año, la categoría de Grabación del Año cuenta con un excepcional grupo de géneros, creadores y artistas que reflejan la diversidad de la música latina y su gran influencia cultural a nivel mundial.

Además, la categoría Mejor Nuevo Artista muestra un conjunto único de nominados: Angela Álvarez, Sofía Campos, Cande y Paulo, Clarissa, Silvana Estrada, Pol Granch, Nabález, Tiare, Vale, Yahritza y Su Esencia, y Nicole Zignago. La gran diversidad de este grupo reafirma el compromiso de La Academia Latina por brindar oportunidades a todos los artistas.

“En La Academia Latina de la Grabación nos esforzamos continuamente por apoyar e impulsar a los creadores de música latina, y estos nominados personifican la excelencia musical y representan el gran momento por el que atraviesa nuestra música”, dijo Manuel Abud, CEO de La Academia Latina de la Grabación. “Nos sentimos orgullosos de presentar las nominaciones con este diverso grupo de talentosos artistas, que reflejan la evolución de nuestra Academia como institución moderna y relevante, dando así inicio oficial a la vigésima tercera temporada de los Latin GRAMMYs®”.

Los nominados de la 23.a Entrega Anual del Latin GRAMMY fueron seleccionados de entre más de 18,000 inscripciones en 53 categorías, y reflejan una gran variedad de artistas que publicaron grabaciones durante el periodo de elegibilidad (del 1 de junio de 2021 al 31 de mayo de 2022). Todas las canciones que son consideradas para nominaciones deben ser canciones nuevas, y tener un porcentaje mínimo de la letra (51%) en español, portugués o en cualquiera de los dialectos indígenas de nuestra región.

La ronda final de votación para seleccionar a los ganadores del Latin GRAMMY® se iniciará el 30 de septiembre. La Academia Latina realizará la 23.a Entrega Anual del Latin GRAMMY el jueves, 17 de noviembre de 2022, desde el Michelob ULTRA Arena del Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino en Las Vegas. La trasmisión se difundirá en vivo en Univision a partir de las 8 p.m. Este/Pacífico (7 p.m. Centro). Antes de la trasmisión, se realizará la ceremonia de La Premiere del Latin GRAMMY® —la velada de larga trayectoria, llena de actuaciones memorables y emotivos discursos de aceptación— en la que se anunciarán los ganadores en la mayoría de las categorías.

Para ayudar a mantener un entorno saludable y reducir el riesgo de COVID-19, todos los eventos de La Academia Latina de la Grabación contarán con protocolos de seguridad apropiados. Por ahora, de acuerdo con las recomendaciones del gobierno federal, estatal y del condado, La Academia Latina de la Grabación anticipa que no habrá requisitos de vacunación o de uso de mascarillas para los asistentes. Seguiremos evaluando estos requisitos, que están sujetos a cambios. Por supuesto, cualquier persona que no se sienta bien, o que tenga algún síntoma de COVID-19 y/u otras enfermedades infecciosas, no deberá asistir a ningún evento de La Academia Latina. La Academia Latina se esforzará por notificar prontamente a todos los asistentes de cualquier cambio de política, protocolos adicionales o nuevos requisitos.
