Israel Blanks Honduras 2-0 in FIFA Friendly Match & Historic Visit After 35 Years in New York City !

NEW YORK (SMI-WIRE,06.02.13)Israel defeats Honduras 2-0 in FIFA friendly's match and during a historic 35 years visit to New York City in front of 26, 170 fans who attended this anticipated match between these two national teams at Citi-Field Queens New York City.

The New York City jewish community was in attendance to see their native national team after 35 years since they seen their team played a friendly game and visit to New York.There were celebrations and dancers prior to the game and after the victory of 2-0 over Honduras.

Honduras came into this game with the idea to prepare for the next CONCACAF's qualifying match World Cup Brazil 2014 against Costa Rica.Both teams played very conservative in the first half with no major opportunity to score and ending the half scoreless.

In the second half Honduras loss concentration in the field and Israel took control of the ball in the mid-field with numerous contra-attack reaching the Hondura's goal with no problem.The Israelis kept the pressure with consecutive attacks opening the score through Hen Ezra Ezra at 52' minute, when he managed to evade two hondura's defenders and kicking a hard shot from outside the 18' and out of the reach of Hondura's goalkeeper Valladares for the 1-0 in favor of Israel.

Honduras could not find the way re-group and tried to make counter-attacks disorganized ending with no major danger to the Israeli's goal.

Israel kept it's composure and maintain solid in the field with numerous offensive attacks the rest of the game. The second goal arrived in the 79' minute when in a break-away Hen Ezra once again took the ball down the field out-running two defenders and centering the ball to Abihazira who scored easily for the 2-0 and sealing the victory for Israel.
